5 Schools Closed in MD due to Swine Flu

WASHINGTON - The following schools are closed while officials investigate probable cases of swine flu:

• Rockville High School Rockville - schoolclosed until further notice.

• Montpelier Elementary School Laurel - schoolclosed for a minimum of 14 days starting on Monday, May 4.

• University Park Elementary School Hyattsville - school closed for a minimum of 14 days starting on Monday, May 4.

• Folger McKinsey Elementary Severna Park - school closed for a minimum of five days starting on May 1.

• Milford Mill Academy Baltimore County - school closed starting May 1. Principal Nathan Gibson says they plan to reopen the school on Thursday, May 7 unless circumstances and national guidelines change.
